PROFESSOR MIKE ANDERSON
Ranked IBJJF Master 3 Black Belt Heavy Weight
Professor Mike Anderson earned his black belt from Professor Alan Shebaro in 2019 and is currently ranked as a first degree Black Belt under Professor Alan.
Originally from Minnesota, Mike relocated to North Texas in 2011. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in Consumer Science and Personal Finance. He works as a financial advisor and is currently a Board Member and Treasurer of the We Defy Foundation.
Over the years, Mike has competed in a wide variety of different sports and athletics. He grew up playing hockey and track, transitioned to rowing in college, and was introduced to Judo.
Just before moving to North Texas, Mike began training in Jiu Jitsu. What started as a casual pastime has turned into a passion to train, compete, and teach.
